Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ewan Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cikotic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ewan Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mirko Cikotic!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cikotic, right into the meat.
Edwards closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Edwards prevents Cikotic from standing back up.
Edwards decides to stand up.
Edwards darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Edwards works his way into side control.
Cikotic pushes Edwards away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Edwards gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Cikotic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Edwards. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cikotic manages to get back to half guard.
Edwards is looking for a kimura here.
Cikotic tries to kick Edwards off but Edwards keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Cikotic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Edwards.
Edwards not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Edwards is keen to just control but Cikotic is a slippery customer.
Cikotic is trying to stand up here but Edwards is controlling him well.

Cikotic is staying active underneath Edwards, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cikotic gets back to full guard.
Cikotic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Edwards is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cikotic pushes Edwards away with a front kick.
Cikotic looks to land a combination but Edwards avoids it well.

Edwards thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cikotic's head.
Edwards is working for a kimura but Cikotic is defending it quite comfortably.
Cikotic makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Cikotic throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cikotic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Edwards crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cikotic - the referee stops the clock and Edwards gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cikotic. Edwards manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cikotic looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Edwards is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edwards passes the guard and advances to mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Edwards goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cikotic turns into him and now he's in Edwards's guard.

Edwards wants to sweep but no luck.
Edwards trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Edwards has his hands on Cikotic's head, controlling the position.

Edwards has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cikotic stopping the sweep attempt from Edwards.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Cikotic is looking to stand up but Edwards won't let him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cikotic throws a leg kick which misses Edwards's front leg but catches the back leg as Edwards tries to avoid it.
Edwards shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Edwards showed some decent athleticism there.
Edwards wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cikotic keeps working.
Cikotic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Edwards is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cikotic defends it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Edwards is trying to control the action in half guard but Cikotic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ewan Edwards will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ewan Edwards overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Edwards has an Americana. Cikotic didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Edwards is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Edwards hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ewan Edwards!
