Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost's entrance music is Under And Over It. A fine choice. Kersikov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nolan Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov checks a leg kick nicely.
Frost shoots for a takedown but Kersikov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Frost.
Kersikov looks gassed!
Frost scores with a leg kick.

Frost drives through and clinches with Kersikov against the cage.

Frost breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frost jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Frost throws a low kick, looking for Kersikov's leg but Kersikov calmly moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Frost.
Frost wants to clinch up but Kersikov keeps it at a distance.
Kersikov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Frosts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kersikov moves out of range as Frost strikes.
Frost throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frost lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Roman Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frost connects with a solid leg kick.
Frost lands a leg kick that knocks Kersikov off balance momentarily.

Frost closes the distance and pushes Kersikov back into the cage.

Frost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kersikov checks a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kersikov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Frost.
Frost fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kersikov.
A slapping leg kick lands for Frost.
Roman Kersikov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Frost misses the shot to the body.
Kersikov walks forward, straight into a front kick from Frost.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frost misses with a low kick.
Kersikov keeps the fight on the outside.
Frost could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kersikov throws a looping overhand right but Frost ducks down to avoid it.
Kersikov's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Frost shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Frost forces his way into half guard.
Frost not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frost performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Kersikov is in trouble now - Frost has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Frost takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kersikov has left one of his arms exposed and Frost doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kersikov screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nolan Frost!
