The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gostos A uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brandao has time to react.
Brandao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Brandao connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gostos A. Gostos A circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brandao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gostos A circles away quickly and effectively.
Gostos A lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Brandao misses with a straight left.
Gostos A fails with a takedown attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
