Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a right and a left that both miss.

Green throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hyde was covering up waiting for the punch and Green finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hyde has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.

Hyde is looking for a triangle but Green pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hyde is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Green defends well.

Hyde looking to hit a scissor sweep but Green is one step ahead there.
Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Green got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hyde has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Green has managed to get both his arms back between Hyde's legs - danger averted.

Hyde escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hyde has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Green is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hyde.

Hyde is looking for a kimura but Green is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hyde to get the leverage.

Hyde misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Green is looking to improve his position but Hyde isn't that keen on the idea.

Hyde swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Green is now in Hyde's guard. A big mistake from Hyde there, giving up the dominant position!

Hyde has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hyde fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Green avoids it really well and circles away.

Hyde is trying hard to land a takedown here. Green sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Tom Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jekkyl Hyde.

Green shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Green showed some decent athleticism there.

Hyde is desperately trying to improve his position but Green has a good base and remains in mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hyde can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hyde bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Hyde postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Green is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hyde, into his guard.

Hyde is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Green defends well.

Hyde is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Hyde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Green could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hyde isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Green stacks Hyde on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Green!
