Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Vasyuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasyuk. That did some damage!
Vitaly Vasyuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chavez tries to sprawl but Vasyuk drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chavez is refusing to be controlled, as Vasyuk sits in half guard.
Vasyuk landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Vasyuk thows a huge punch but Chavez dodges it nicely.

Vasyuk postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chavez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vasyuk, into his guard.

Chavez is trying to control. Vasyuk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hugo Chavez has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
