The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wickline shoots in but no luck this time.
hackman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wickline is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wickline looks for a takedown but hackman sprawls well.
Travis Wickline seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wickline throws a nice looking combination but hackman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
hackman lands a head kick. Wickline smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A combination from Wickline does no damage.
hackman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wickline.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Wickline. That's going to take a lot out of him.
hackman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wickline has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by hackman.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by hackman.
hackman looks to throw the jab but Wickline is out of range.
Wickline is breathing heavily.
Wickline throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around hackman's waist but hackman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wickline off to one side.
Wickline will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
hackman lands with an overhand left.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
hackman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wickline.

Wickline is rocked!
Wickline tries to clinch up but hackman circles away and keeps his distance.

hackman closes the distance and clinches.
hackman jumps guard but Wickline stands there with hackman around his waist. hackman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wickline has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. hackman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

hackman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wickline shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has hackman pinned against the cage. hackman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
hackman lands with a slapping head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wickline looks for a takedown but hackman sprawls well.
Nice combo by Wickline! Oh, that's hurt him - hackman falls to the canvas and Wickline follows him into side control.

hackman is rocked!

It looks like Leo hackman has been cut.
Wickline scores with a couple of short elbows.
hackman is still in real trouble! Can Wickline finish him?
Wickline cracks hackman with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Wickline immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! hackman is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Wickline!
