Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rigan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Dellingpole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Dellingpole!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dellingpole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
A leg kick checked by Dellingpole.
Dellingpole slips under a jab.
Gracie swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dellingpole.
A jab from Gracie misses.
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Dellingpole was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gracie lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Dellingpole's head but Dellingpole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie is looking to slow Dellingpole down with leg kicks.
Gracie scores with a shot to the body.

Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dellingpole.

Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.

Dellingpole moves out of range of the strikes.
Dellingpole takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dellingpole ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dellingpole on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gracie misses with a looping left.
Dellingpole slips under a jab.
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Dellingpole slips the punch.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.

Dellingpole shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Dellingpole got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dellingpole has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dellingpole manages to get himself to full guard.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Dellingpole keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dellingpole walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gracie.

Dellingpole tries to move into range but Gracie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gracie lands an overhand right.
Dellingpole misses with a takedown attempt
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie lands with an uppercut that bounces Dellingpole off the cage and back into range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie throws a good cross that connects.

Dellingpole is rocked!
Gracie throws an uppercut from hell that sends Dellingpole clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gracie stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
