Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Take it in Blood -- Nas. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard wants to slow Ramirez down by chopping away at his legs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramirez.
Leonard cracks Ramirez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ramirez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice uppercut lands for Ramirez. That snapped Leonard's head back.
Leonard misses with a right hand
and Ramirez counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramirez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Leonard scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ramirez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leonard can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ramirez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leonard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Some bone on bone action there as Ramirez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Ramirez instigates a clinch.
Ramirez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Leonard blocks an uppercut.
Ramirez misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Leonard.

Ramirez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ramirez cracks Leonard with a nice body shot.
Ramirez tries to work over Leonard's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ramirez misses with a short punch on the inside.
Leonard displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ramirez up against the cage.
Ramirez misses with some punches.
Ramirez goes for a takedown attempt but Leonard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ramirez checks the leg kick nicely there.

Leonard tries a low kick but Ramirez avoids it.
Ramirez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leonard is fending him off so far but Ramirez persists. Nope, Leonard circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hanley Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leonard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ramirez.
Leonard cracks a nice hook into Ramirez's ribs.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ramirez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Leonard hang on?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Leonard wants to control but Ramirez is having none of it.
Ramirez is landing with some decent strikes but Leonard is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Leonard is rocked!

Leonard is still in real trouble! Can Ramirez finish him?
Ramirez postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Leonard in real trouble here! The ref calls for Leonard to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
