The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Donk. Belt catches McMurray right on the button with a cross.
Belt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McMurray.
Belt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McMurray throws out the jab.
Belt lands a right hook to the body.

McMurray drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McMurray will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Belt up against the cage.
Belt throws a punch but it's blocked by McMurray.
Belt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McMurray lands a shot to the body.
Belt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
McMurray is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

McMurray has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Belt after a bit of a struggle.

McMurray goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

McMurray manages to break the clinch.
Belt throws a jab but it's blocked by McMurray.
Belt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McMurray.
McMurray takes one to the side of the head.

McMurray tries to close the distance and clinch up but Belt swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Belt stuffs the takedown attempt from McMurray. McMurray gets slowly back to his feet.
Black Belt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis McMurray.
McMurray throws a hook to the side of Belt's head but Belt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Belt cracks McMurray with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Belt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McMurray to stand back up!
McMurray is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Belt fakes the body blow, causing McMurray to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! McMurray goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Black Belt!
