Bautista comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies and Gentlemen. Childs has chosen Born This Way as his entrance music. Brian Childs struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Childs looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Childs slips a straight right by Bautista.
A punch lands to the side of Childs 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bautista scores with a jab to the body.
Bautista scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bautista misses with a wild body shot.

Bautista checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Childs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Childs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bautista.
Bautista throws a hook to the side of Childs's head but Childs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bautista throws a big shot that misses.
Bautista looks to land a left hand but Childs moved out of range nicely.
Bautista rushes Childs with punches - Childs moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Childs goes down! Bautista follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
