Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sphinx scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Spun tries to escape but Sphinx is in control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sphinx trying to control the action but Spun is working from the bottom.
Sphinx tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Spun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sphinx wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sphinx wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spun, who protects the arm well.

Sphinx working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Spun is trying to escape the position but Sphinx is controlling the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Spun is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sphinx off and has taken his back!

Spun working for a choke but Sphinx is defending well.
Sphinx looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Sphinx shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sphinx slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sphinx wants to take a breather but Spun is having none of it.
Sphinx prevents Spun from standing back up.

Spun wants to stand but Sphinx is controlling the position.

Spun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sphinx. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sphinx working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Spun is doing well to defend. Sphinx seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Spun is forced to tap and this one is over!
