These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montourski thuds his right hand into Blaskey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Montourski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Blaskey wants to control but Montourski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Blaskey tries to roll over but Montourski keeps him under control.
Blaskey is pressing down on Montourski's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Montourski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Blaskey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Blaskey has Montourski pulled in close to control his posture.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

BOOM! Montourski lands a beautiful left hook that drops Blaskey. Blaskey tries to recover but Montourski is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Blaskey lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanley Montourski!
A pretty intense looking Stanley Montourski took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
