Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Camino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Camino could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alistair Velazquez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, El Camino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alistair Velazquez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velazquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Velazquez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Camino closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Velazquez's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Camino is standing up over Velazquez. Velazquez looks to escape but Camino dives into side control.
Velazquez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Camino has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Camino has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Camino gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Camino has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Velazquez uses from the top position.

Camino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Velazquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Camino holds on and takes a little breather.

Velazquez looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up because El Camino just wasn't active enough.

Camino has closed the distance and engaged Velazquez in a clinch.

Camino is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Velazquez can't fight it off and eventually Camino manages to take the fight to the floor. Velazquez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Camino has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Velazquez is proving hard to escape from.
Velazquez is looking to stand up but Camino isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velazquez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Camino is controlling him.
Camino trying to control the position from guard on top but Velazquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Velazquez has had enough of the clinch but Camino keeps him there for the moment.

Camino tightens his grip and picks Velazquez up, before dumping him to the ground. Velazquez manages to land in guard.
Camino in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Camino will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Camino tries to free his leg and advance position but Velazquez is retaining full guard.
Velazquez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Camino is controlling him.

Camino gets to his feet. Velazquez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Alistair Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Camino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Velazquez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Camino content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Camino decides to stand back up.
El Camino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Camino stops Velazquez from standing up.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

El Camino has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Velazquez throws a head kick that misses
and Camino counters with a body kick that stops Velazquez in his tracks momentarily.

Camino shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Velazquez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Camino seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Camino ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Camino no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Camino is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Velazquez is trying to break the clinch but Camino is controlling him.

Camino clinches up with Velazquez and pushes him back against the cage.

Camino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Velazquez lands a head kick. Camino smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Camino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velazquez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Camino somewhat.

Velazquez is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Velazquez is pushing Camino's head away, looking to escape. Camino manages to hold on to the position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Camino. Velazquez does a little dance to reset his feet.

Camino rushes Velazquez and presses him up against the cage.

Camino has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Velazquez regains guard immediately.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Camino accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Velazquez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Camino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Velazquez moves forwards but Camino connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Camino has Velazquez up against the cage in a clinch.
Velazquez is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Camino gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Camino knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Velazquez on the ground.

Camino decides to return to a standing position.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Camino.
Velazquez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Camino circles away quickly and effectively.
Camino shoots in looking for a takedown. Velazquez tries to sprawl out of it but Camino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Velazquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Velazquez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Velazquez throws a nice looking combination but Camino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Camino has managed to clinch.

Camino has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Velazquez uses from the top position.

Velazquez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Camino defends it easily.

Camino stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Velazquez.

Camino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

And that's the end of the fight!
El Camino showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Camino, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
