Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hodgins.
Tanner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hodgins slips a jab and a cross from Tanner.
Tanner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hodgins tries to keep at a distance but Tanner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hodgins gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tanner regains guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hodgins scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tanner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hodgins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hodgins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tanner wants to stand and escape but Hodgins is having none of it.
Tanner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hodgins distracts Tanner with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hodgins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Kurt Tanner has been cut.

Hodgins is putting a hurting on Tanner here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hodgins has an Americana. Tanner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hodgins is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hodgins hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
