Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stand King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stand King!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. James tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in James's guard.
King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
King trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

King postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. James looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Stand King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

King looks up at the clock and then as James takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
King misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
James tries to improve position but can't.
King in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ground and pound from King seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into James's guard.

King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

James throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Stand King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
