The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Mondello.

Mondello tries to close the distance and clinch up but Withnail swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mondello rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Withnail moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mondello manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Withnail on his heels. He'll look to pass Withnail's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Withnail escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mondello gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mondello is sitting in close to Withnail's body. Withnail has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mondello is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mondello is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Withnail.
