The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skiter gets a clinch.
Skiter lands with a light punch inside.
Nevsky is trying to drag Skiter to the mat but Skiter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Skiter content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Skiter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

It looks like Alexandr Nevsky has been cut.
Skiter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Skiter throws a head punch that misses.

Skiter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Skiter misses with the combination.
Skiter scores with a shot to the body.

Skiter takes the fight into the clinch.

Nevsky goes for a takedown in the clinch but Skiter prevents it.
Skiter gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nevsky.

Nevsky wants to take the fight to the mat but Skiter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Skiter can't find room to land a body shot as Nevsky controls the action.

Skiter lands a shot to the body.
Nevsky tries to pull guard but Skiter holds him up against the cage and eventually Nevsky drops back down to his feet.
Skiter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Skiter gets through Nevsky's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Come on Skiter - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Skiter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Skiter pushes Nevsky back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Nevsky looks gassed!
Skiter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nevskys head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Skiter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A shot in the inside from Skiter.
Skiter presses Nevsky against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Skiter lands with a left to the head.
Still in the clinch, Skiter scores with a nice short uppercut.

Skiter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rodrick Skiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skiter has Nevsky up against the cage in a clinch.

Skiter breaks from the clinch.

Skiter moves into the clinch successfully.
A right handed body shot lands from Skiter.

Skiter manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nevsky is defended easily by Skiter.
Rodrick Skiter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Skiter throws a series of punches but Nevsky avoids them all with ease.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skiter cracks a nice hook into Nevsky's ribs.
Skiter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nevsky staying out of range there.

Skiter cracks Nevsky with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nevsky looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Skiter finish him?

Nevsky is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nevsky is still on wobbly legs! Can Skiter finish him?
Skiter pushes Nevsky against the cage. Skiter is working some dirty boxing. Skiter pushes off with a quick right hook! Nevsky goes down! Nevsky tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Skiter moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
