The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Liddell sizes up Snake with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Liddell buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Liddell throws a sloppy head kick and Snake moves out of range easily.
Snake blocks a head kick by Liddell.
Liddell misses with a low kick.
Liddell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Liddell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Liddell throws a nice outside leg kick.
Snake avoids a kick to the body.
Snake avoids the body shot from Liddell.
Snake checks a leg kick nicely.
Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snake moves away.
Liddell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Liddell misses with a head kick.

Liddell takes a swing at Snake's ribcage but misses.
Liddell throws a head kick but Snake moves out of range.
Liddell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Snake.

and Snake counters with a nice double leg into side control. Liddell won't be happy with that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Snake has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Liddell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Snake yanks on the arm and Liddell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Snake.
