Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hannah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannah avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hannah throws a right and a left that both miss.

Hannah closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Aguilar quickly recovers to half guard.

Hannah decides to stand up.
Aguilar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hannah swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hannah should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hannah seems to be working for a kimura but Aguilar defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aguilar is not content to let Hannah control the position.
Aguilar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hannah escapes and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aguilar looks to land a right hand but Hannah moved out of range.
Aguilar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Aguilar getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jon Hannah will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Aguilar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hannah's head.

It looks like Jon Hannah has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aguilar.

Hannah feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hannah swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Aguilar is now in Hannah's guard. A big mistake from Hannah there, giving up the dominant position!

Hannah seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hannah shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Jon Hannah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Aguilar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hannah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
