The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svendsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Kitaoka circles away.
Svendsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kitaoka but Kitaoka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kitaoka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Svendsen cracks Kitaoka with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Svendsen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kitaoka to stand back up!

Kitaoka is rocked!
Svendsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kitaoka is still on wobbly legs! Can Svendsen finish him?
