Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benjamin Grundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Otto Vetch!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Grundy.
Grundy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grundy wants it to stay on the feet.
Vetch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grundy manages to avoid it.
Grundy moves out of range as Vetch throws a body kick.
Vetch lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Grundy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grundy throws out a loose jab but Vetch uses good head movement to avoid it.

Vetch dives in and scores a takedown into Grundy's guard.

Grundy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vetch's guard.

Vetch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grundy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grundy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Grundy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Vetch has his foot on Grundy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grundy works his way back into a safe position though.

Vetch is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Grundy defends well.
Grundy is fighting to break Vetch's control of his arms but Vetch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Grundy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Otto Vetch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grundy throws a lazy right hand but Vetch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Grundy moves in looking to clinch but Vetch pushes him off.

Vetch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Grundy lands a lovely overhand right.

Grundy connects with a leg kick. Vetch looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Grundy is looking to chop away at Vetch's legs.
Vetch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grundy pinned against the cage. Grundy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grundy lands a leg kick that knocks Vetch off balance momentarily.
Grundy wants to slow Vetch down by chopping away at his legs.
Grundy misses with a double jab
and Vetch counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Oooooh!!! Grundy has knocked Vetch down with a huge combo! Grundy steps away and waves a wobbly Vetch back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vetch looks up at the clock. Bad move! Grundy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Vetch. Grundy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
