Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler comes into the arena with Nelly - E.I. blaring out of the sound system. Gracie has chosen Green as his entrance music. Robbie Brawler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler thows a left - swing and a miss!
Brawler throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brawler is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brawler walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brawler throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brawler holds on and takes a little breather.

Gracie throws an elbow that misses. Brawler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gracie's guard. Nice move by Brawler!
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
Brawler tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brawler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gracie has his hands on Brawler's head, controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brawler has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Brawler manages to pass to side control!

Brawler is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brawler seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Gracie has an Americana. Brawler didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gracie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Marko Gracie!
