Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector LaRue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaRue comes to the cage accompanied by Saigon - Hatrix. Sanders comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sand Man-Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRue throws a leg kick that misses.
Bruce Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanders feints a jab promting LaRue to slip. Sanders then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. LaRue slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Hector LaRue has been cut.
Sanders chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before LaRue can pounce on him.
Sanders scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
LaRue keeps the fight on the outside.
Sanders closes the distance but LaRue moves to the side
and LaRue counters with a good low kick that Sanders was not able to check.
LaRue is looking to land body kicks.
LaRue tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanders was well out of range. Poor timing from LaRue.
Sanders blocks a head kick by LaRue.

LaRue shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Still in half guard, LaRue seems content to control.
Sanders wants to control but LaRue is keeping busy.
Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as LaRue sits in half guard.

Sanders has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. LaRue is working away from the top position though.

Sanders pushes LaRue off looking to stand but LaRue dives back in and keeps control.

LaRue working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
LaRue passes to side control.
Sanders wants to get back to his feet.
LaRue cracks Sanders with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Bruce Sanders has been cut.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LaRue is chipping away with strikes.
LaRue controls the position.
LaRue lands a nice forearm strike.
LaRue wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanders keeps working.
LaRue tries to advance to mount but Sanders denies him.
LaRue has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sanders is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
A big shot lands for LaRue! That's hurt Sanders! Will he recover? LaRue fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
