The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Boss moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The Boss scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The Boss is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The Boss tries to free his leg and advance position but Aldo is retaining full guard.
The Boss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The Boss wants to control from the top but Aldo keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ross The Boss wasn't active enough on the ground.
Aldo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Aldo lands a front kick.
The Boss tries to close the distance and clinch but Aldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The Boss takes a kick to the side of the head.
Aldo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Aldo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An inside leg kick lands from Aldo .
Aldo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The Boss takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Aldo lands a nice shot to the body.
The Boss looks gassed!
Crunch! Aldo slams his shin into The Boss's torso.
Aldo keeps The Boss at a distance using the push kick.
Aldo throws a one two combo.

The Boss is rocked!
No luck for The Boss with that takedown attempt.
The Boss is still on wobbly legs! Can Aldo finish him?
Aldo lands a brutal head kick. The Boss looks out on his feet and Aldo throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

In his post fight interview, Jose Aldo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
