Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by eye of the tiger. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Elite!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elite misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Elite scores with a nice strike.
Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Elite digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Elite counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Elite. That snapped Gracie's head back.
Elite lands a right hook to the body.
Elite stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A head kick misses from Elite.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Elite counters with a straight right hand.

Elite fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.
Elite throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Elite pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Elite.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Elite counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elite comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Elite lands a lovely overhand right.
Gracie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Elite thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Elite pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Elite is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gracie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Elite closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The Elite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Elite to counter with a crisp jab.
Elite scores with a nice strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Elite tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gracie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Elite fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gracie to the ground. Elite is now in Gracie's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Elite controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a triangle. Elite throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gracie's body to avoid the submission. Gracie has instead reached around Elite's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Andy Gracie!
After the fight, Andy Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
