Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 6 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bogdan Wasilcov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Knarles Grunt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasilcov shoots for a takedown but Grunt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grunt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grunt wants it to stay on the feet.

Grunt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Grunt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grunt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grunt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Grunt is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wasilcov is trying to escape and Grunt transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wasilcov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Grunt! Very nice indeed!
