Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waltteri Lahti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Aerts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Waltteri Lahti!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lahti closes the distance and clinches up with Aerts, looking for a takedown. Lahti pushes Aerts against the cage but Aerts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aerts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lahti has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lahti and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Aerts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lahti has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Aerts.

Lahti shoots in looking for a takedown but Aerts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lahti's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Aerts.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aerts, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
