The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgibbon misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kang counters with a stiff right hand.

Kang rushes Fitzgibbon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fitzgibbon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kang has him pressed against the cage.

Paulo Kang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That was a close round but I would say that Paulo Kang will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
