And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lawson Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cage as he avoids it easily.
Cage lands a head kick!
Cage doesn't manage to clinch there - Sharp circles away.
Cage looks to land a body kick but Sharp moved away.
Cage takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sharp fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sharp moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cage wants to clinch.
Sharp closes the distance and clinches up with Cage, looking for a takedown. Sharp pushes Cage against the cage but Cage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sharp is fending him off so far but Cage persists. Nope, Sharp circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cage dives in and grabs Sharp's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sharp pushes down on Cage's head and hops out.
Sharp tries to clinch up but Cage circles away and keeps his distance.

Sharp jumps guard and drags Cage to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sharp enables Cage to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sharp manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
