Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raf Gon DIas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percival Pickervance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gon DIas comes to the cage accompanied by Before I Forget. Percival Pickervance told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Percival Pickervance!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickervance lands a jab to the nose.
No joy there for Gon DIas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gon DIas misses with a wild combination.
Pickervance lands with an overhand left.
Gon DIas ducks under a wild hook from Pickervance.
Gon DIas moves out of range of the body kick from Pickervance.
Pickervance moves forwards but Gon DIas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pickervance pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gon DIas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pickervance shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pickervance is taking a breather. Gon DIas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Percival Pickervance dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pickervance stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gon DIas slips under a jab from Pickervance.
Pickervance swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pickervance throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gon DIas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pickervance throws an overhand right that lands on Gon DIas's shoulder, as Gon DIas tries to avoid the shot.
Pickervance throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pickervance lands with a cross.
Gon DIas takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gon DIas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pickervance is able to avoid easily.
Pickervance closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pickervance lands in his opponent's guard.
Gon DIas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gon DIas tries to get out of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pickervance lands a nice looking body kick.
Pickervance ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gon DIas moves away.
Pickervance paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Percival Pickervance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pickervance moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gon DIas tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gon DIas throws a series of punches but Pickervance moves out of range.
Pickervance lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Raf Gon DIas has been cut.
Pickervance scores with a shot to the body.
Pickervance swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gon DIas.
Gon DIas is rocked!
Pickervance dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Gon DIas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pickervance flashes Gon DIas a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Gon DIas's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Gon DIas crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Pickervance punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
