Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Brasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DZK - Man Possessed. Donnie Brasco is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black wants to clinch up but Brasco keeps it at a distance.
Good work by Brasco as he checks the leg kick.
Black throws a hook but Brasco blocks it.
Brasco avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brendan Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black takes one to the side of the head.
Black avoids the head kick by Brasco.
Black throws a right and a left that Brasco avoids nicely.
Black listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brasco moves away.
Black throws a hook but Brasco blocks it.
Black swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Brasco counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Brasco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Black throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Brasco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Brasco moves out of range of the leg kick from Black.
Brasco moves forwards but Black connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Black throws an off balance right hand
and Brasco counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Black stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brasco.
Black doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brasco pushes Black away with a front kick.
Black is breathing heavily.
Brasco dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Black misses with a hook
and Brasco counters with a slapping leg kick.
Black tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brasco bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Black's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brasco connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Black scrambles back to his feet.
Black misses with a left hand
and Brasco counters with a nice body kick.
Brasco throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Brasco blocks the leg kick.
Black tries to move into range but Brasco moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Brendan Black has been cut.

Brasco avoids the head kick by Black.
Brasco fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Black on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Black takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brasco.
Brasco punishes Black's body with a nice straight punch.
Black throws a lazy uppercut
and Brasco counters with an inside leg kick.
Black throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brasco sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A clash of legs there as Brasco blocks the low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brasco is out of range and Black settles back down.
Black throws a low kick but Brasco avoids it.
Black throws an overhand right that lands on Brasco's shoulder, as Brasco tries to avoid the shot.
Black misses with a left hand
and Brasco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Black swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brasco counters with a nice body kick.
Brasco throws a nice head kick!
Brasco lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Black looks to land a left hand but Brasco moved out of range nicely.
Black on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brasco. Brasco obviously looking to wear him down.
Brasco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Black is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Brasco's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Nice uppercut lands for Brasco. That snapped Black's head back.
Black falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brasco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Brendan Black's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brasco cracks Black with a right hand to the side of the head.
Black throws a leg kick but Brasco sees it coming and checks it nicely.
The fighters circling - Black throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Black looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Brasco does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Brasco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Brasco throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Black.
Black misses with a few strikes there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Brasco.
Brasco is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brasco connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Brendan Black's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Brasco counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Black is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Brasco clobbers Black with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brendan Black's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
