Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Refn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Torrance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torrance has chosen Shadow on the Sun by Audioslave as his entrance music. Torrance has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Refn throws a lazy right hand but Torrance sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Refn tests Torrance's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fighters circling - Refn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Refn misses with a straight right.
Refn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Torrance walks into a jab.

Refn tries to bum rush Torrance with a series of wild strikes but Torrance uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Refn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Refn looks to land a left hand but Torrance moved out of range nicely.
Refn lands a jab.
Refn throws a good cross that connects.
Torrance throws a looping overhand right but Refn ducks down to avoid it.
Refn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Torrances jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Torrance cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Torrance is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Torrance uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Refn.
Refn circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Torrance to the canvas! Torrance doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Refn keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
