The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hester closes the distance and pushes Judy back into the cage.
Hester misses with some punches.

Judy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Judy is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Judy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hester is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Hester comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Judy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Judy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hester defends it nicely.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcus Hester hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Judy wants to clinch.
Hester closes the distance but Judy moves to the side

and Judy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Judy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Judy wants to control from the top but Hester keeps moving.
Hester not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hester is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hester takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Marcus Hester.
Hester is looking to clinch but Judy is avoiding it.
Marcus Hester is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Judy walks into a stiff left hand from Hester.
Hester paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hester tries to clinch up but Judy circles away and keeps his distance.

Hester scores with a crisp jab that stopped Judy in his tracks.

Judy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Judy is breathing heavily.
Hester has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Judy is working away from the top position though.
Judy content to control rather than advance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Judy thows a huge punch but Hester dodges it nicely.

A close round but Marcus Hester will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Judge Judy's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Judy shoots in looking for a takedown but Hester manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Judy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hester moves into range and clinches up with Judy.
Hester is pressed up against the cage. Judy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hester down to the mat. Hester avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Judy tries to clinch up but Hester circles away and keeps his distance.

Hester gets a clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hester stalling against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Hester's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Judy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hester smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judge Judy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut lands for Hester. That snapped Judy's head back.
Hester checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Judy shoots for a takedown but Hester saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hester doesn't manage to clinch there - Judy circles away.
Hester tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Judy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Judy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Hester drives through and clinches with Judy against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hester.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Judy is trying to break the clinch but Hester is controlling him.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Judy.
Hester lands a left hand that snaps the head of Judy backwards.
Hester stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hester lands a right hand.
Hester lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hester tries a knee to the head but Judy blocks it.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hester as Judy tries to tie him up.

Judy is rocked!
Hester lands an elbow inside that Judy shrugs off.
Oh Judy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Hester - that landed with a thud.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hester.
Hester creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Judy with a big uppercut! Judy tries to clinch up but Hester pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Judy to the mat! Judy covers up and Hester unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
