Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mauri Kunnas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gundar Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kunnas comes to the ring accompanied by Jumal x10 Lavis - Jeesus. Thorsen has chosen Thunder struck- ACDC as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Thorsen.
Kunnas scores with a leg kick.
Thorsen throws a shot from downtown. Kunnas moves away and avoids it.
Thorsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thorsen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kunnas.
Thorsen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Thorsen misses the body punch
and Kunnas counters with a big head kick but Thorsen shrugs it off.
Kunnas feints and then cracks Thorsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thorsen down.
Kunnas blocks the body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorsen misses with a straight left.
Gundar Thorsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thorsen scores with a hook to the body. Kunnas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Thorsen looks for the body kick but Kunnas saw that one coming.
A jab from Thorsen does it's job there.
Kunnas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thorsen lands with a nice body punch.
Thorsen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kunnas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Sloppy strikes from Thorsen. Those never looked like landing.
Kunnas doesn't manage to clinch there - Thorsen circles away.
Thorsen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thorsen looks to land a body kick but Kunnas moved away.
Nice defenses there by Kunnas.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Kunnas is just out of range.
Kunnas slips under a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thorsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kunnas.
Kunnas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gundar Thorsen dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Thorsen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kunnas on the side of the head.

Thorsen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kunnas. Kunnas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kunnas tries to clinch up but Thorsen circles away and keeps his distance.

Thorsen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Thorsen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kunnas.
Thorsen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kunnas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thorsen.

Kunnas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thorsen.
Thorsen looks to throw the jab but Kunnas is out of range.
Kunnas throws a head kick that misses
and Thorsen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kunnas thinking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thorsen misses with a left hand
and Kunnas counters with a nice uppercut.
Kunnas ducks under a wild hook from Thorsen.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thorsen scores with a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kunnas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thorsen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thorsen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gundar Thorsen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thorsen.

and Thorsen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kunnas throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thorsen misses with a right hand
and Kunnas counters with a body kick that stops Thorsen in his tracks momentarily.

and Kunnas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kunnas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thorsen.

Thorsen throws the left hand but Kunnas avoids the punch easily.

It looks like Gundar Thorsen has been cut.

Thorsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kunnas throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Thorsen blocks it with crossed arms.

Kunnas cracks Thorsen with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Thorsen goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Thorsen wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
