Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Felix Barr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kozlov misses with a right hand
and Barr counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Barr jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kozlov moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kozlov thows a body shot but no joy.
Kozlov ducks under a wild hook from Barr.
Kozlov throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kozlov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Barr scores with a head kick.
Barr lands a lovely overhand right.
Kozlov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kozlov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barr on the side of the head.

Barr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kozlov throws out the jab.
Barr loads up on a big right hand but Kozlov slips the punch.

Barr fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kozlov is out of range.
Kozlov lands with a hook. Barr tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd cheers as Barr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kozlov doesn't seem phased though.
Barr jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kozlov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kozlov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Barr counters with a stiff right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Barr counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kozlov's knee momentarily.

Barr looks to land a body kick but Kozlov moved away.
Nice defenses there by Barr.
The fighters circling - Barr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kozlov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kozlov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barr doesn't seem bothered though.

Kozlov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barr moves away.
Kozlov tries to score with a low kick but Barr moves his leg out of the way.

Barr tries to land a front kick but Kozlov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Kozlov counters with a good, hard body kick but Barr shrugs it off.
Barr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kozlov throws a jab when Barr was well out of range.
Barr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kozlov on the side of the head.
Kozlov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barr stuns Kozlov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Barr counters with a three punch combo that has Kozlov backing up. Kozlov nods at Barr to acknowledge the strikes.

Kozlov is rocked!
Kozlov glances at the clock... BAM! Barr nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kozlov crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kozlov is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
