Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrick Wulfsburgh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villegas comes to the cage accompanied by War is my destiny. Wulfsburgh has chosen The Wolf Is Loose - Mastodon as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harry Villegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fredrick Wulfsburgh!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Villegas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wulfsburgh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Villegas circles away quickly and effectively.
Wulfsburgh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wulfsburgh wants it to stay on the feet.
Villegas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wulfsburgh's calf.
Wulfsburgh walks into a jab.
Villegas throws out a loose jab but Wulfsburgh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wulfsburgh connects with a high kick.


It looks like Harry Villegas has been cut.
Villegas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Villegas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Villegas is looking to take a break and control but Wulfsburgh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wulfsburgh wants to get back to full guard but Villegas has passed into side control.
Villegas tries to move to mount but Wulfsburgh blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wulfsburgh tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Villegas presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Villegas working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Wulfsburgh keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Villegas lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Villegas lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wulfsburgh trying desperately to get to his feet.
The referee warns Wulfsburgh that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Villegas with good strikes from the mount here!
Villegas cracks Wulfsburgh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Villegas lands a big shot there that rocks Wulfsburgh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Villegas scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wulfsburgh?


Wulfsburgh is rocked!
Villegas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wulfsburgh is still in real trouble! Can Villegas finish him?
Villegas controlling the position easily from mount.
Villegas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Villegas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oooh a big shot lands for Villegas! Wulfsburgh is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
