Lyger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Holy Diver kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rocksalt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rocksalt misses with the combination.
Rocksalt falls off balance throwing a combination

and Lyger counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lyger working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rocksalt looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Rocksalt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lyger on the ground.

Lyger wants to control from the top but Rocksalt keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lyger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rocksalt!

Lyger has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rocksalt's face.
