Fitch comes into the arena with Kickstart blaring out of the sound system. Ac Res has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Fitch's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fitch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fitch keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Res's head.
Fitch makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Res working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fitch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fitch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Res has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fitch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Res has tightened it up now! Fitch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
