The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Borders.

Borders shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Borders can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Edgar is looking to escape.

Borders is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Edgar is surviving well by controlling Borders's body position as best he can.

Borders looking to secure an arm triangle but Edgar defends it well.
Edgar tries to reverse the position but Borders maintains control.
Borders avoids the attempt from Edgar to control.

Borders blocks Edgar 's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Edgar wants to control but Borders is having none of it.
Edgar gets back to half guard.
Borders tries to pass the half guard into mount. Edgar knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Edgar manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Edgar leaves Borders with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Borders closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Edgar tightens his grip and picks Borders up, before dumping him to the ground. Borders manages to land in guard.

Edgar postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Borders badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Edgar around the waist but Edgar pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Edgar is the winner by TKO! Edgar jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
