Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiberio Celentano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celentano has chosen The Godfather Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celentano swinging wildly here.
Lyons uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Celentano.
Celentano throws a solid leg kick but Lyons takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Celentano.
Celentano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Celentano stalks Lyons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lyons's face. Lyons staggers backwards, shaken.

and Lyons moves into the clinch.
Lyons is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Celentano is trying to pull guard but Lyons turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lyons has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Celentano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Lyons punches Celentano on the ear.
Celentano covers up after that shot from Lyons.

Lyons is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Celentano is defending well though. Lyons let's go of the attempt for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Celentano is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lyons gets his way!
