The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kowski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kowski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jones feints and as Kowski raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kowski thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kowski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones lands a couple of digs.
Kowski tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kowski is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Jones goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Kowski!
