The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mihai misses with an uppercut.
Mihai keeps the fight on the outside.

Mihai shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dy is in trouble now - Mihai has advanced to mount!
Dy tries to hold on but Mihai postures up.

Mihai looking to secure an arm triangle but Dy defends it well.
Dy tries to hold on but Mihai pushes him away.

Mihai working for a guillotine from mount but Dy is in no mood to give up.

Mihai wants to take his opponent's back but Dy doesn't allow it.

Mihai is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dy shrugs it off.

Mihai is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dy is surviving well by controlling Mihai's body position as best he can.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dy is squirming around, avoiding Mihai's attempts to control the action.

Dy flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Mihai is looking to work his way around to Dy's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Mihai is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Dy is forced to tap! Great finish!
