Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snap Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes into the arena with Bottoms Up by Trey Songz f. Nicki Minaj blaring out of the sound system. Couture has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Davis with that takedown attempt.
Couture misses with a looping left.
Davis fails with a takedown attempt.
Couture thows a body shot but no joy.
Couture stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Couture wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snap Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davis.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Couture, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Couture against the cage but Couture circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Davis counters with a shoot takedown. Couture fights it but they end up in guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Couture can do anything to dispel that myth.
Davis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Snap Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture lands a slapping body shot.

Nice sprawl there from Couture as Davis shoots in.
Davis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Couture sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but Couture swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Davis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Couture connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Davis scrambles back to his feet.

Davis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Davis is working for a submission of some sort.
Couture is trying to control but can't.
Couture is in trouble now - Davis has advanced to mount!
Davis unloads with some shots from mount but Couture bucks and avoids them well.
Couture really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Couture is bucking up trying to escape but Davis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Couture is surviving well by controlling Davis's body position as best he can.
Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Couture manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Davis tries to score with some ground and pound. Couture controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Couture avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Davis.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davis in side control, throwing shots but Couture defends.
Davis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Couture is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snap Davis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Couture clobbers Davis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
Davis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Couture is fending him off so far but Davis persists. Nope, Couture circles away and we're back to standing.
Davis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Couture.
Davis shoots for a double leg takedown but Couture sprawls well. He's pushed Davis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Davis tightens his grip and picks Couture up, before dumping him to the ground. Couture manages to land in guard.

Couture is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Couture wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him.
Davis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Randy Couture is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Couture gets tackled into the cage by Davis. Davis maintains the clinch.
Davis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Davis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Couture just stands there and leans against the cage.
Davis tries for a takedown. No joy.

Davis shoots in but Couture avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Couture which made him look bad.

Couture jabs Davis to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Davis dives in and grabs Couture's left leg, looking for a takedown. Couture pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Couture as he jumps to the side.
Couture throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Couture scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Couture scores with a hook to the body. Davis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Snap Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Couture throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Randy Couture showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
The fighters circle momentarily. Couture darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Couture dips a shoulder and cracks Davis with a mighty uppercut! Davis falls back against the cage and Couture unloads with a barrage of strikes! Davis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Couture screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Couture!
In his post fight interview, Randy Couture gave a big smile as he said '~Couture walks around the cage flexing before taking the mic~ Hey is Davis okay?... You okay Davis?... What the hell am I thinking that clown will be ON queer street for another five or ten minutes! YOUR DAMN IT STINKS IN HERE, IM THE SHIT! You awake yet Davis? Somebody call 911!'.
