The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birkhoff throws a body punch but Kapahawa moves out of range.
Birkhoff slaps away a takedown attempt from Kapahawa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Birkhoff fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Birkhoff misses with a two punch combination.
Birkhoff throws out a leg kick but Kapahawa moves out of range and Birkhoff only half commits.

Kapahawa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Birkhoff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Kapahawa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Birkhoff scores with a counter punch that sends Kapahawa to the canvas! Birkhoff smells blood - he's punishing Kapahawa with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kapahawa has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
