Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joo Gitzoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Tordin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Tordin as Gitzoo shoots in.
Tordin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tordin, as that shot connected.

Tordin rushes Gitzoo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tordin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tordin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Tordin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Gitzoo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Oh Gitzoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!Gitzoo preventing the sweep.
Gitzoo seems to have got his legs back now.

Tordin tries to roll over but Gitzoo keeps him under control.

Gitzoo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Tordin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tordin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gitzoo misses with a takedown attempt - Tordin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Leonardo Tordin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tordin has closed the distance and engaged Gitzoo in a clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gitzoo.

Tordin tests Gitzoo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gitzoo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tordin circles away.
Tordin tries to clinch up but Gitzoo circles away and keeps his distance.
Gitzoo shoots in for a takedown but Tordin shows good takedown defense.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gitzoo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tordin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gitzoo wants to finish this one by submission but Tordin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gitzoo.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gitzoo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tordin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tordin is working to get back to half guard.

Gitzoo has hold of Tordin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tordin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gitzoo is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gitzoo extends the arm and Tordin is forced to tap!
