These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Arashikage swivels and escapes.
Arashikage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Christian throws a head kick that misses.
Christian takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Christian blocks a head kick by Arashikage.

Christian darts in and clinches Arashikage up against the cage.

Arashikage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Christian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Arashikage's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Arashikage has one foot on Christian's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Arashikage throws a head kick that misses.

Christian fails to land the takedown.
Whack! Arashikage lands a heavy head kick that drops Christian. The ref tackles Arashikage to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Christian was done.
