The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Odeivole misses with a takedown

and Bens counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Odeivole's guard now.

Bens got a little sloppy there for a moment and Odeivole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bens has managed to get both his arms back between Odeivole's legs - danger averted.
Bens is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
