Mensah has chosen Pour Some Sugar On Me as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mensah pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mensah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mensah misses with a double jab.
Brookins scores with a head kick.

It looks like Kenneth Mensah has been cut.
Brookins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mensah is looking to score with low kicks.
Brookins scores with a spinning back kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circling - Mensah throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mensah looks to land a combination but Brookins avoids it well.
Brookins lands with an uppercut that bounces Mensah off the cage and back into range.
Brookins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brookins lands with a kick to the ribs.

Mensah clinches with his opponent.
Brookins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Mensah wants to break free but Brookins has control.

Mensah breaks from the clinch.
Mensah throws a head kick that misses.
Mensah throws a sloppy head kick
and Brookins counters with a body kick.
Mensah looks gassed!
Brookins throws a nice inside leg kick.
Brookins throws a shot to the body.
Mensah's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brookins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mensah scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Brookins tenderised Mensah's leg. Mensah is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mensah connects with a crisp jab.
Mensah takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Brookins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brookins lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Mensah is rocked!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Brookins. Mensah shrugs it off though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brookins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brookins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mensah's head.
Mensah is still on wobbly legs! Can Brookins finish him?
Brookins connects with a leg kick. Mensah looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Brookins throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A head kick by Brookins - that's a beauty! Mensah is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Brookins can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
