The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Extreme lands a jab to the head.
Extreme pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Heydrich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Extreme sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Heydrich somewhat.
Extreme lands a nice shot to the body.
Heydrich looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Extreme displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Kurt Heydrich has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Extreme slips a jab and a cross from Heydrich.
Heydrich moves in looking to clinch but Extreme pushes him off.

Oooooh!!! Extreme has knocked Heydrich down with a huge combo! Extreme steps away and waves a wobbly Heydrich back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Extreme lands a nice shot that snaps Heydrich's head back.

Heydrich is rocked!
Extreme cracks Heydrich with a left hook right on the temple and Heydrich goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Extreme lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Heydrich is OK!

After the fight, Josh Extreme was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
