Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alex Bortman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Xamos Othella!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bortman stalks Othella and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Othella's face. Othella staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Xamos Othella has been cut.
Othella fails with the takedown
and Bortman counters with a leg kick.
Othella looks for the body kick but Bortman saw that one coming.
Bortman throws a sloppy head kick and Othella moves out of range easily.
Bortman lands a nice looking body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bortman cracks Othella with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Othella looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bortman finish him?
Othella looks for a takedown but Bortman sprawls well.
Othella looks gassed!
Bortman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Othella fails with the takedown.
Alex Bortman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xamos Othella.

Bortman avoids the head kick by Othella.

Nice takedown defense from Bortman. No joy for Othella on that attempt.

Bortman lands with a shot to the body.
Bortman is pawing at Othella, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Othella's nose. Othella is badly hurt! Bortman pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Othella tries desperately to hold on but Bortman is relentless in his assault! As Othella receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Bortman away and this one is in the books!
